Mix Ratio’s / Directions
Basecoat Color--- 1 Part Color To 1 Part Urethane Reducer:
Spray Color Until Hiding Is Achieved. If The Color Contains Metallic, Make Sure A Uniform Finish Is Obtained.
Allow Adequate Air Dry Between Coats Of Color And A Final Air Dry Of Thirty Minutes Before Applying Clear Coat.
Mid Coat Color ---1 Part Color To 1 Part Urethane Reducer:
Mid coat Colors Are Used In A Tri-Coat System In Order To Achieve The Proper Color Match. Prior To Painting A Tri-Coat Color We Recommend Spraying Out Test Panels.
Apply Base Color To Several Test Panels (Use Basecoat Color Directions) Then Apply One Coat Of Mid Coat Color To The First Panel, Two Coats To The Second And Three Coats Of The Mid Coat Color To The Third.
Allow Fifteen Minutes Flash Time Before Applying A Clear coat Over The Panels. Choose The Panel With The Proper Number Of Mid Coat Color That Best Matches The Motorcycle.
Single Stage Color ---3 Parts Color To 1
Part Catalyst:
Spray Two Coats Of The Mixed Single Stage Color Allowing Fifteen Minutes Between Each Coat. Color Will Dry To A High Gloss.
Clear coat --- 2 Parts Clear To 1 Part Catalyst:
Apply Two To Three Coats Of The Mixed Clear Over The Basecoat Or Mid Coat Color. Allow
Adequate Flash Time Between Coats.
